This month’s project features a pole building designed for farm machine storage. A simple and traditional pole barn design was desired, with the addition of a ten-foot lean to. Putting 12x12 slider doors on each end of the building allows the equipment to be easily stored and quickly accessible.

The main structure uses laminated Tuff-Post brand pole barn posts. The posts are mauufactured by APM and come with a lifetime warranty, allowing the customer to purchase them directly. In addition to the Tuff Posts, the lean-to posts are a solid 6x6 .60 CCA treated for longevity. This customer also purchased the single bubble roof insulation to keep moisture from collecting on the interior of the metal. To finish it off, a cupola from Plyco Inc with color matched sides and roof gives the building a clean, polished look.
