This building shows the very definition of the most commonly requested, and built, standard pole garage / workshop. For most homeowners a building this size is more than adequate for vehicle storage and workshop space. A smaller structure like this only requires the use of standard 4x6 treated posts, which help to keep the costs down. Its size is also very conducive for efficient and economical heating, which this customer plans to add in the near future.

With the future installation of heating in mind the customer choose to add a liner panel and single bubble installation to the inner ceiling. The reflective insulation is perfect for keeping condensation off of the metal. It will also help by reflecting rising heat back downward and preventing it from escaping through the roof. Reflective insulation will also heat reduce heat build up in the summer months by blocking the radiant heat from the sun from getting down into the room.

McElroy Metal was used for both the siding and roofing along with a nicely contrasting gray trim to give the look some definition. A single 9x7 overhead garage door was added as well as an entry door for easy access. All in all, a perfect building!
