Here is a short story about a very long building, 90’ long to be exact. Our customer was looking for a building for large machine storage on his farm. A simple and traditional pole barn design was desired, with the addition of a ten-foot lean-to. Putting 12x12 slider doors on each end of the building allows the equipment to be easily stored and quickly accessible.

The main structure uses laminated Tuff-Post brand pole barn posts. The posts come with a lifetime warranty and happen to be manufactured by us, allowing the customer to purchase them directly thereby cutting out the middleman and saving a few dollars. The lean-to posts are solid 6x6 .60, CCA treated for longevity. Single bubble roof insulation was added to keep moisture from collecting on the interior of the metal. The color-matched cupola from Plyco Inc. gives the building a nice finishing touch.
