This customer was in need of shelter for his RV to keep it safe, dry, and salt free through the West Virginia winters. If you’ve ever driven a vehicle this size you’ll quickly agree that finding adequate storage is no small matter; neither is having to back one up. The job called for a large building and that is exactly what was delivered.

Using 3ply 2x8 manufactured posts (made in-house by Tuff-Post, our sister company) this building stands a full 18ft. tall. The 40ft. width was requested to allow ample room on each side of the garage for various work spaces. Two Clopay garage doors were installed on both gable ends of this building allowing the homeowner the freedom to drive the RV straight through the building without the risk of having to back it up and possible hit the building upon exiting as RV’s are known for having blind spots.

Wainscotting with a Z trim cap was added to given the building to give the look a little zip. The builder decided to do the gable overhang a little differently from the norm. It offers a clean finish and added dimension to the high roof line.
