The storage and shelter of large construction equipment typically requires an equally large building and this customer's needs were no exception to that rule. These types of pole buildings are often a lot of fun to do because their design and construction are very basic and straight-forward, rarely is there any complication. The fun part comes from working on a building project this size.

Being 18' high and 48' wide we need that standard poles would not do the trick. Our in house Tuff-Post® team worked out the numbers and settled on 2x8 3-Ply manufactured posts to support the building. The placement of the posts allowed for four 14' bays which were each topped with an LVL. The LVL (Laminated Veneered Lumber) aids in the support of the roof trusses above. Tan steel was used for the siding with all white trim. An entrance door, awning, and steps were added on the gable end to facilitate quick access from the other buildings on the property.
