Talk about a Do It Yourself Pole Barn Project! This customer takes the "Yourself" part of DIY very seriously; he literally did the entire construction himself with no help or assistance (unless you count his tractor with a bucket lift). The tractor lift definitely came in handy when it was time to set the trusses.

Because of a noticable difference in grade the use of treated tongue and groove, manufactured in-house right here at APM (please see Tuff-Post), was used to level things out. Wayne Dalton Insulated garage doors were selected to cover the 9' x 8' openings (shown here being assembled and installaed). Two double hung windows were included, one of the eave side and one on the gable end where an entry door was added. The classic look was completed vinyl shutters and a Plyco cupola with a whitetail deer weathervane.
