The walls are framed with 2x4's, known as girts, onto the posts. The Roof is framed with 2x4's, know as purlins, over the roof trusses. Since the posts are anchored into the ground, pole buildings do not need a foundation or concrete slab. However, a concrete slab can be poured after the building has been erected.
